You should only use mild or neutral detergent that does not contain bleach or color brighteners as these can damage and discolor the fabric.
Linen can be washed in a washing machine. We recommend, though, selecting a gentle wash cycle of around 40°C/104°F with the low spin. You should not overload your washing machine as linen items need to be washed in plenty of water to remove excess detergent and avoid age-spots.
Air drying your linen naturally is always recommended, as it is the best option to give that crumpled look to your linen items. We do not recommend tumble drying as this can over-dry the fibers. If necessary, you may tumble dry linen on low heat only. Please remove linen items from the washing machine/dryer while they are still a bit damp.
Ironing linen is completely optional. Regardless of your preferred drying method, you should iron the linen while it is still damp to ovoid over-drying and fabric shrinking. You should iron damp linen on the inner side for the best ironing effect. If your linen has already dried out, then we recommend adding a little bit of water into the iron reservoir and iron the linen fabric then.
